The Unit

 

Ceres Division is the Royal Naval Reserve’s presence in Leeds and Yorkshire. Ceres is housed within Carlton Barracks located within walking distance of Leeds City Centre, Leeds City train station, and bus routes.  We are proudly continuing naval traditions in West Yorkshire, recruiting and training people from across Yorkshire and Humberside.

Ceres was opened in 2005 by Rear Admiral Kenneth Borley. Its modern, fully equipped classrooms and IT suite provide a comfortable and versatile home for the Division.  The Division enjoys the use of the well equipped gymnasium, while the wood paneled bar provides a relaxing venue for socialising with shipmates after training on drill nights.

We meet weekly, Thursday 1930-2130.
